Life
When he got in the 73’ Mustang, Montoya was forcefully handcuffed to the dirty leather chair. After trying ten times the car finally started letting out fumes of gas and spilling dabs of oil. They traveled one dreadful hour to a small town right next door to L.A. When they reached a nice two story house and the police station was a house away from them. Montoya was brought to the basement, then was hit over the head with the back of a gun. When Montoya woke up he tried the door, but it was locked. He looked around and found a small window, which was also locked. He made sure that there was no cameras and went to work immediately. A couple of hours later the door flung open. Montoya was shocked at what he saw. Montoya was never able to see the man that had taken him away and know he wished that he never saw his face. Montoya, mesmerized by what he was seeing started to stutter, choking on his spit. The person that he saw was his dad. With a deep voice his father said with an echo:
“ your mom never should have left me and now you and your mother will pay.”
Then out of nowhere he grabbed him and dragged him to his metal deathtrap that he called a car. Without his father noticing he attached a small metal plate that was almost invisible on the maroon colored vehicle. His dad took him to the forest with a whip and knife, and it was so far in the forest that nobody could here him scream, except for the scared wildlife animals. After a painful hour they arrived back at the house and as soon as Montoya opened the door, he began to run. All he heard was big bang in the background and then he felt pressure in his leg. As he went down all he could see was the beautiful sunset pass over him. As pain filled his body he fainted from losing to much blood. He woke up in the dark basement with a bandanna around his gun wound. Outside he could hear the engine of the Mustang start. Montoya limped toward the window and pressed a button, and counted to five. Suddenly, he heard a big bang and the cops were there in less than a minute. They found Montoya and had him hospitalized. The next day, he turned on the TV to the channel two news. It showed the 73’ Mustang except it was black and pieces of the car were gone. The news reporter concluded that it was an accident and there was nobody in the car at the time. Soon after some cops came and asked him questions involving the incident with the blown up car. Montoya told the whole story and the police said with a mean, raspy voice:
“you did the right thing.”
Between 9 and 10 am his mom came and took him back home. Montoya fears that his father might strike again, but now he was safe. Outside it was the kind of day that made you sad and wanted to sleep all day. Of coarse though, because of the thoughts racing through his reasonably sized head. He went over all the things that had happened to him, repeating all of it back to himself.
“ok, so my dad,” he stopped, he heard something from behind the door. Suddenly the door flung open , almost breaking the slender, crisp brown wooden door, and his slightly sunburn mom appeared.
“Montoya I have been so worried!” His mom said reassuringly. Montoya did not understand the meaning of this comment.
“Mom, you didn’t even look for me.” He said with his attitude rising.
“ Anyways, I have missed you too.” He said.”
His heartfelt mom was about to speak, but at the last moment Montoya butted in.
“ It was dad.” This time he said it with a discouraged and almost hateful voice. Montoya thought his mom would break out into a group of bad comments, but he was wrong. Instead, his mom just broke into an undying laughter.
“ Hey, mom what are you laughing about. My dad kidnaps me and you can do is laugh.” His temper peaking now.
He said something under his breath that was heard throughout the multi-colored hospital dorm.
“ I have the most stupidest, inconsiderate mom. Man, I wish she would just die or something…”
His mom stopped laughing, and started talking again,
“Honey, the reason I am laughing is because I killed your father.”
“WWHHHHAAAAT!?!?!?!?!!?. Mom that is impossible, I saw him. I still have the bruises and cuts.
His mom playing along with the story told by her beloved son said ” Ok, really if you are so sure then show me.”
” Fine then, just give me a second…”
He took off his shirt and turned around.”See I told you.”
His mom started laughing so hard that she started crying, followed by a very inhumane cough.Montoya also started laughing.
“Ahh I see what you are trying to do. You are trying to use reversepsychology on me, so I act like it never happens. Haha, smooth but I already learned about that.”
Then he gracefully walked over to the mirror, just to see that nothing was there except for his mole on the left side of his spinal cord.
“Ok, umm I swear I them. I think I should go home and get rest.”He said.
“Good idea” his mom said in a confident voice. It was about a thirty minute drive from Kaiser to there house. While on there way, his mom made a turn that he didn’t notice before.
“umm where are we going?” montoya said in a confused voice.
“Its a shortcut honey, just relax. You have been so tense lately.”
” No duh, I was just kidnapped retard.”He said in a sarcastic voice.
” You were, tell me the whole story.”His mom said in the sweetest voice thought possible.
” I just told the story, weren’t you listening. Mom, you ok?”
The moment he said that, lightning struck the cold, hard, wet pavement in the front of them. After what seemed to be the longest 45 minutes, the car stopped.
Montoya woke up, but he wasn’t in his car
anymore. All he could hear was a bunch of mummering and buzzing sounds. After a couple minutes he was able to see. Soon after he was accompanied by a beautiful young nurse.
” Where am I.” He said in a dazed voice.
” You are at the hospital silly.”The young lady said.
“Umm how did I get here.”
“Well, how do say this to you.” She said
“Say what to me”He said aggresavely
“ok, your family was taking a vacation in Las Vegas. You were going out to a show when your mom unexpectantly started speeding. We believe she was driving under the influence, because she didn’t stop when the police started chasing after her. While she was being chased the car slipped and started rolling. The cops immediatly called the ambulancew, but it was to late. You were the only still breathing. On your way to the ambulance you went into shock which led into a coma.”
” How long was I out.”
” For about a month,” she said
” What about my dad, my parents are divorced.” He was ashamed when he said this.
” We weren’t able to find your dad. The only piece of information is a 73′ Mustang that blew up about a month ago. Hey, do you know anything about that.” She wondered.
“No,” He said in a raspy voice.
